Sergio was born in Turin on November 13th 1947, he started his career as director within the National Sanitary Service; subsequently covering prestigious roles within companies operating in the financial sector.

In 1985 he started his activity as financial advisor and supervisor in Fideuram S.p.a. Between 1987 and 2003 he continued his professional experience in SanPaolo Invest, where from 1993 to 2001 he covered the role of sales manager of the Italian regions of Piemonte and Valle d’Aosta.

Between 1994 and 1998 he is vice national secretary of the Anasf (National Association Financial Services agents) and from 1999 to 2002 Vice President. In January 2002, he was appointed President of the foundation Efpa Italy, and since January 2004, he is VP of Efpa Europe (the European Financial Planning Association), headquartered in Rotterdam.
